Today was more riveting, pun intended! I first clecoed on all of the aft bulkheads, I had to do a little trimming in the little cutouts for the upper longeron. I don’t know why I did not notice when I drilled them but they were touching the longeron slightly. I did not want in-flight vibrations to cause any rubbing, so I trimmed them so they have clearance and gave each another shot of primer. Riveting on the bulkheads went smoothly; I was able to reach most of the rivets with my pneumatic squeezer. I did have to pull out the rivet gun a buck a couple that I could not reach, mainly the ones up next to the skin. I even had to use my long double offset rivet set. I did not rivet on the aft most bulkhead since I may need to enlarge a hole for a bushing or connector. I have to run a 5 wire bundle to the elevator trim motor and power to the tail light. I still have not decided on a light system! I moved onto the F869 gussets that reinforce the F807 bulkhead. These were a little tricky because the holes are close the interior curve of the longeron. I ground down the end of my no-hole yoke and was able to squeeze all but the most forward rivet, that on I had to buck.
