Brief Description:  (R) Brake line, Fuel return line

Another 3 hours of build time logged today. An order came in from Van’s which contained the needed tubing. I also bought some new 45 degree bulkhead elbows. One of the elbows I received from Van’s in my kit has a flat thread, it was obviously defective but I just ordered a new one rather than sending the bad on back. I will pick up my finish kit in person so I will take this and some other parts I will not be using and get a credit for them then.

I installed the 45 degree elbow on the left fuel vent line. I then made and installed the right brake line. I had to make an “S” in the line because I made the section along the floor just a little too long. So with this little imperfection, I again made a full line without having to redo the thing. Next I moved back to the fuel system. I made the return line from the pump which “T’s” in to supply line from the fuel selector valve. This time I had two tries before I liked the result. One more line to connect the fuel pump to the firewall fitting and I will be done with the fuel lines. I am still considering redoing the right fuel line. Next part of the plans has me moving back to the tail to install the static system and then put on the turtle deck skin, and then it will look more like an airplane.
