Brief Description:  Checked torque of gear mounts

I managed to get a few things done today in preparation for running the fuel lines. I had to prime over the counter sunk holes in the longeron that will hold one end of the fuel valve bracket. I then checked the torque on the gear weld mounts and marked it with orange torque seal. That is pretty much it for the day. I am doing my usual and pondering the next step the fuel line. I want to sue a nice fitting for the fuel vent exterior parts but I am not sure how to make it work with the double floor, I may have to enlarge the interior floor so I can tighten the nut on this fitting, this would mean adding an inline fitting because I should not get a socket onto the vent fitting. I am not sure what issues this inline fitting might cause. The vent line per the plans is one continuous piece of tube that has to be built in place. It seems that Van’s wants this to be continuous because it would be much easier to build it in pieces and link them together with fittings. Again I am wasting time considering something that is not in the plans. Maybe I will just let this idea go as well just to keep things moving along.
