Brief Description:  Riveted some nut plates

I riveted on some nut plates just to feel like I did something other than paint today. I riveted on nut plates to the Andair Fuel Valve. Thankfully all countersinking was already done so it was easy to squeezer to set the rivets. I also needed to rivet on the upper nut plate onto the bracket that holds the forward part of the throttle console. Well this proved to be a pain. I am not sure whey this is not done on the QB kit, maybe mine was over looked. The lower two nut plates where installed. Well you can’t get a squeezer or rivet set on the forward most rivet. It is a corner style nut plate. I figured I would just use a blind rivet, well that was not perfect either. I already had a tip shaved at an angle so that was the only way I could set the blind rivet. So it took like 15 minutes to set 3 nut plates (6 rivets) on the fuel valve and 45 min to set two rivets on one nut plate!
