I drilled out the two rivets that held the fuel valve bracket to the longeron and then drilled them up to #19 for the #8 screws. I did my best to free hand the countersinks for the flat head screws, they did not turn out great but heck no one sees this anyways. Next I drilled and installed the nut plates and test fit the bracket again. I left the rivets in the console brace side of things; I can still remove the brace with the two halves of the fuel valve bracket in place.
