This is the first day when all I did was work on the plane, I did not have to arrange things in the hangar! I want to get the wings fitted so that means going a little backwards. I have to remove the left and right consoles and a number of fuel lines so that I can get to the bolts for the wings. I also had to remove the switch console since I still need to rivet on the F804 caps, which is my goal for today.
The riveting of the F804 caps went smoothly with the help of several draw clecoes. The kit came with what I learned is typical waves in the F804 bulkhead. The draw clecoes do a nice job of pulling things tight, better than a regular cleco. The only issue I still have to solve is pulling the rivet for the upper most forward rivet. It was late so I left that rivet for later.
