Brief Description:  Air hose work

One of the items to finish up before the top skin is the fresh air vent hose. I snakes up behind the panel but kind of slops and there is not much of a flange on the vent and I think the weight of the free hanging hose might make the hose work loose.

I came up with an upper support which is a curve piece of aluminum fuel line (-4). I flattened on end and drilled a #8 hole and used the same screw supporting som wire runs behind the panel. This works perfectly, I wrapped the tube with some silicone tape.

I put some edge protection on the hole that supports the hose at the heater vent panel. I still am waiting on the vent in the mail. The photos show the hoses without clamps, they sit fairly solid this way so I think with clamps they will be in service a long time.
