I was not in the shop long but long enough to reach a milestone. I installed the nose wheel onto the fork and rolled the airplane outside for some photos. It sure is tall on the gear, of course with the weight of the engine and wing it will settle in a little lower.
Looking at it makes me wonder if I should not have done the windscreen work before putting on the gear but oh well, I have some aluminum steps I can work off of or worse case I will build a scaffold to work from.
Looking more like an airplane every day!
Ballast on the front floor keeps the nose down for now.
