Brief Description:  Fit main wheels and brakes

Today was very disjointed, I got started in the morning ready for a long productive day, and then shortly after starting I realized I needed to cut some tube, and my band saw was on the fritz. I had to go out to the store so I ran other errands, then after a couple more hours work another interruption.

What I accomplished was to fit both the left and right main wheel assemblies, I did not permanently bolt everything; I used castle nuts instead of stop nut to make things easy. The Grove wheel and brakes are not part of the kit, I had to trim away some of the inboard wheel pant bracket to clear the brake caliper. When I was done with the one side the other was easy to trim, I used to the first one to trace the part that needed to be cut out. All in all a good day, I have one axel that did not want to take the bearing but I ran some 600 grit to polish it up and was able to get the wheel to slide on.

I still have to pack the wheel bearings but at least at this point I know it all fits. I need to mark and drill for the cotter pin for the axel nut but I need to snug the wheel up to the proper preload before I do that. I will do that with the gear off the plane so I can use the drill press to drill the hole. I will mean taking the wheel back off but the drill press can do a better job of drilling the hole than I can do with a hand drill.
