Brief Description:  HS is done:)

I did not get started until 2:30 this afternoon, but I had the house to myself and I worked until 9:30 this evening. I was on a roll and I wanted to get the HS done today. And it is done. Of course I had to set in on the fuselage with the vertical stab. (see photo) Not like every other builder has not done this. It does look more like an airplane instead of just a bunch of aluminum parts.

I was able to use the pneumatic squeezer on all of these rivets. You would think that I could have done all this riveting in less than 7 hours but, I like to go slow a methodically so that slows me down. I did have two rivets on one end of the HS that I had to drill out. I did not hold the squeezer square and the rivets clenched over, you could actually see the edge of the hole next to the shop head.

I started to get the parts together for the rudder, which is my next project. It is good to be done with the HS.
