Brief Description: Finished dimpling of the VS skin
I finished up the VS skin dimples today. I needed to use the squeezer for the last few holes at the leading edge of the top and bottom. I think I will add an addition to the table that goes in front. I found the only way to get to some holes with the dimplier was with most of the skin off the table. I had to support with one hand and then work the lever with the other, with only a portion of the skin supported by the table. While dimpling this way, if I were to have slipped and let go with my hand while the die was compressed it would have left a nice buckle in the skin. I have heard some say that the dimples with the squeezer are not as nice as with the DRDT or C frame but I can't tell the difference; maybe after I try to rivet a few I will see a difference.
