This is the third day in a row that I have worked on the kit, unprecedented. Today I deburred and dimpled then primed the VS ribs and then riveted the parts into place. The main spar gets riveted after the skin is in place. I still need to pick up some wash primer for the big parts. I have used Sherwin Williams 988 rattle cans for the ribs, it is a spray can self etching primer. I plan to use what Van's uses to prime the QB kits which is Sherwin Williams P60G2.
I have some places to touch up with primer, I did not wait long enough for the primer to set up, gee do you think I am excited to get started?
