Tuesday night at the EAA meeting I scheduled an appointment for Friday with our EAA technical counselor to come give me another inspection. He called about the time I was done painting the panel and asked if he could come by today. I spent the time before he arrived to clean up the shop and pull out parts I had worked on since his last visit. My main purpose was to have him look over my fuel system and the beginning of my electrical system. We had nice visit and talked airplane stuff as he looked over work. He is a retire Boeing Quality Assurance guy, he has forgotten more than I will ever know about building airplanes, he is also a welding instructor. He said I was doing fine and to keep up the good work, just what you want to hear from the Technical Counselor!
