I did not get started as early as I wanted. I planned to work on the mounting of the current limiter and ammeter shunt. When reading the Dynon manual they give you 3 possible areas to mount the shunt, of course I had to do a lot of reading up on the subject so I could make an informed decision. I made the copper bars to connect the shunt to the current limiter and the limiter to the start relay. I had to put and bend and twist on the bar connecting the start solenoid to get it to line up. I may redo this I have another idea that just popped into my head as I am tying this post. I need to pick up some hardware; the current limiter requires ΒΌ inch flat head screws which I do not have. I taped things in place to make sure it will fit in the space I have. I will have to find a spot for a shunt for the standby alternator. I have seen smaller shunts but the Dynon one is really long so it makes it difficult to find a good spot for it.
