Well I made the journey today to pick up my QB kit. It turns out at least this week it is cheaper to rent a U-Haul one way than it is round trip by like $110. So I took a train to Portland from my home town in Olympia WA, there I picked up the truck and drove to Van's. The guys did a nice job loading the plane, though when the fuselage was picked up from its rack at the factory the guys bent the forward fuselage panel quite a bit. There was a technical expert there answering some of my other questions when it happened, he seemed to think it will not be a problem, there is a very noticeable crease, I guess that panel is supposed to bend a little forward. At any rate I drove the kit home and unloaded the beast with the help of my wife, brother and sister in law. I am right in the middle of the inventory, I am waiting on some info form Van's I have several parts bags with nothing that tells me what is supposed to be in them. They think I was given the wrong inventory sheets. Well here are some pictures in the truck and in the shop. Wow, I have not bucked on rivet on this thing and look how good it looks! The beauty of the Quick build kit.
