I drove to Van's (only 2.5 hours) and picked up my tail kit. I then went down to take a class on building metal airplanes in Eugen, OR. The company name is Synergy and I highly recommend the "Fundamentals" class. I wanted to know what a good rivet looked like before I started on my project. This class taught me that and I was able to use various tools.
This is kind of the first offical log entry. It will be slow going at first since I have a major bathroom remodel in the works but eventually I should be able to dedicate substantial time to the project. I also hope to keep this log up as well. I hate to write and my typing is much better than my writing so this will be my main builders log for the project.
