I had an interesting day today. I went to the hangar to install the CB panel that I put labels on yesterday. While doing this I get a phone call, it is the Inspector, he asked if I was ready and I said “almost” knowing I still had stuff I had to complete but thinking he wants to schedule something for next week, I know he just returned from a trip out of the country. Then to my surprise he wants to come out tomorrow!! I say okay noting to him some of the stuff I have not done yet but asked for some relief if I can’t get it all done before tomorrow afternoon. He agreed and we set 3 pm as rough time. Well I end up working until 1230 AM getting as much done as I could. I sealed the firewall wire pass troughs as well as the firewall perimeter. I installed the lens covers, tied up some wires in the EE bay, cotter pinned the main wheel axel nuts and numerous other little things too numerous to list.
Suffice it to say I left the hanger at 1 AM still needing to clean and sweep the most important was to prepare my logs and paperwork!
