Well this is the last day of the month, and I have gone over 2500 hours of build time. One of the things that slows me down is when I mess up something and have to order new parts. I do things over many times because I am somewhat of a perfectionist but I am trying to break that habit. Well today I just messed up. There is a clear cover that goes over the corner light cutout in the wing. You make this out of a section of formed plastic, as I was trimming it down I just took too much off one side without balancing it out with the other so this will have to be done over. I did an acceptable job on the right tip so I will keep that but I should have material to give it another go since the plastic comes as one piece, you cut it in half for and make the lens for each tip.
The other thing I accomplished today was to make the wiring connections for the lights between the wing tips and the wing. Not a bad job if I do say so myself. I hooked up the lights on each side and they tested just fine. I do need one 3 pole connector which I can’t pick up until Tuesday due to the holiday weekend.
