Today I tackled the wing tips. I made an inner support out of construction foam insulation. Basically held it up to the wing and traced the wing shape. I then cut and sanded it so the tip fit. I got what I thought was a best fit and drilled the tip to the wing. I then moved to the other side and with little sanding it fit near perfectly. Trailing edge matches up not gap at the leading edge like I have with the right. So learning from this I removed the right and sanded a bit more at the leading edge and was able to achieve a better fit but now I have holes that I need to fill. I filled the holes with a resin flox mixture and will re-drill the tip tomorrow.
Redid the other side due to a large gap in this area.
