I had to work a trip and go out again tomorrow but put in a few hours today. Today was spent finishing the jack stands my EAA Tech Councilor helped me make. He did the welding but did let me try may had at TIG welding on some scrape, all in all a great learning experience for me. He also had the aluminum scaffolding stock on hand that the stand is made from and he gave me this for next to nothing. Thanks Doug!! I copied a design someone had out of steel, when I talked with Doug about getting steel to do the same that is when he told me he had aluminum to do the same thing. Sweet! I still need to finish up the caps with the 3/8 bolt, this will screw into the tie down holes on the wings.
