While the shims cured I started to fit the front windscreen. I am using some vinyl cabinet bumpers for spacers. I set the spacers and used draw clecoes to get the curve of the windscreen to match the curve of the canopy. Once the gap is filled with a fillet of Sika glue I should have a nice fit. I also marked the tops skin where the edge of the windscreen will sit, I need to paint the top skin a flat black on what will become the interior dash area to prevent glare. I also need to mark a spot for the 496 GPS antenna and the XM antenna.
Even though I used the fast hardener it must still be cool enough to not set up fast, I gave up and did some yard work the rest of the day.
