I am home for only one day but managed some work on the plane. I did more work with the heat gun then removed the skirt to work on the front edge of the canopy. Even though I had a piece of cardboard as a guide when I cut the canopy in two the edge of the Plexiglas was not even with the canopy frame so I sanded everything down until I liked the look then hit it with fine grit to give the canopy edge a nice smooth finish. I also sanded some of the high spots in my Sika fillet.
I will have a week off after this next trip so hopefully more progress!
