Brief Description:  Prop Governor Bracket

I wanted to check the clearance of the oil filter to the engine mount and get some ideas on where to route cables so I removed the engine from the stand and lifted it in place with the hoist. After I was happy I set the engine on some saw horses still hooked up to the hoist so that is was stable and at a goo height to work on things.

I removed the back of the prop governor to re-clock the actuator. I then sanded the radius of the prop cable bracket so that it matched the lip on the governor. This bracket is meant for another governor but this is how I read others make it work for the PCU 5000 governor used for the WW200 prop. The radius is taken down until the center hole fits, the other two holes are elongated to match the holes in the governor face. This does not leave a lot of edge distance but others seem to make this work. Before I called it a night I hooked up the cable to test fit, it looks like I will have to adjust the clock just a little bit; I don’t get full travel to max fine pitch.
