This entry has zero time because for the last few days I have only done household chores or research on engine installations and organizing the garage. I had a refrigerator in the garage go out about a year ago but could not get it out because the plane was n the way. Well now that the plane is on the wheels and movable I bought a used refrigerator to replace the old one. This is just used for extra freezer space and a place for beer and soda. You never know what you will get a no-notice hospitality check!
While at it I moved stuff around and lined up the hoist and engine on the stand. I need to use the hoist to hold the engine up close to the mount to get an idea on where to run cables and hoses. The plans are a good place to start but I have an aftermarket fuel injections system so the plans don’t help me. It is a system made by Air Flow Performance, if you are reading this and a builder you more than likely have hear of them.
Plan of attach now:
Finalize the cables and other firewall items. Rivet on top skin top skin Finish fitting the canopy fairing Fiberglass in the windscreen Then hang the engine.
Glad my garage is deep otherwise I would have to work in a cold hanger
