Brief Description:  Start Arm decal and tested circuits

Lots of stuff done today and most of all some circuits are working as planned. I started with making the decal for the Start Arm button. I was ready for multiple attempts but the decal turned out on the first try. I put the decal on and then coated it with clear coat. When this is good and dry I will drill the hole for the START ARM Light.

I spent the rest of the day working on the ground wires for the various items I have already installed. Since it was near the end of the day and I wanted some motivation, I hooked up the battery and temporarily hooked up the navigation and strobe lights. Closed the CB panel and installed the right console and tested all the circuits with the respective switches. I could not get the interior LED lights to work so I removed the right switch panel and began to trouble shoot the wires with an ohm meter to see what I messed up. After confirming all the wires were good and scratching my head I realized I never hooked the Molex ground connector up. I reinstalled the switch panel and of course it all worked just fine. I have an orange label to remind me the connection is there but I am working from the top of the panel, not from the inside. Without the top skin on it is easier to work from the top.

It was very cool to see stuff work; the panel items should go fast as those wires are all installed it is just a matter of pulling them down to the circuit breakers.

NOTE TO BUILDERS: Put off buying instruments as long as you can. I thought I was ready and bought Dynon 1st generation stuff knowing the Skyview was on the way. I am now wishing I had waited. But hey I am wiring things knowing I will change the panel instruments someday.

Hooked up instrument flood, it is blue or whited. I think I might switch the others to white.

There will be a small forward panel to cover the wires, I leave it off for now.
