Brief Description:  Solder wires to switch

Back from a trip and have a vacation week coming up and hope to make more progress on the plane. I think I am really close to getting some electrons flowing. I learned that I could not use a smaller wire to run the boost pump on light so I removed the #22 wire for #18 and re-tied the bundle.

I then turned to the eyeball lights that will go in the F804 caps. The switch has solder posts and this was my first attempt doing any kind of solder. Thanks to some good video on YouTube I did a decent job. Since that went so well I soldered a small light that will go above the starter arm switch this light will tell me that the start circuit is armed. I covered the solder with shrink tube.

I drilled and installed the eyeball light switch in the large hole of the roll bar foot, this should work just fine. I next have to locate and drill the hole for the arm light above the arm button. That button also has solder connections so I will get more practice. This should be helpful; I should be proficient by the time I have to solder the wires to the microphone and headphone jacks.
