I was thinking during the day how I could secure the D-sub connector for the pitch servo and then I thought I don’t need those bulky covers. So I removed the pins from the D-sub connectors and then reconnected them and covered each one with shrink tubing. I then put shrink tubing over the whole mess. I also added one more layer in the color yellow to show me where the actual connections are made if I ever have to remove the servo. I had to remove one shrink tube on one wire because I connected up the wrong two wires; it was not easy getting the stuff off. This should provide a secure connection.
I secured the wires with a stainless clamp to the servo housing using one of the threaded #6 screw holes. I also lace tied the wires coming out of the servo to the wire bundle that run horizontally on the servo. This I hope will add a little strain relief.
