Brief Description: Fuselage inspection and nut plates
Again spent the majority of the time verifying the various sections of the QB fuse were completed. I needed to install the cabin heat boxes (section 27) but did not have the Pro-Seal called out in the plans. I searched for the best source and ended up purchasing the FireMaster product sold on Van's web site. According to Van's, it is intended to be a suitable replacement. Also installed the wing fairing nutplates on the fuselage skin (section 26).Looking through section 25 I noticed that several bolts were missing for the seat rail supports. I made a note to call Van's or order these from Spruce. When I proceeded to complete section 30 (step installation) I noticed that there were several washers on the bolts going throught the step support blocks. Turns out they were the wrong lengths; the Phillipines had used the AN3-12A bolts intended for the seat rails. I replaced them with the correct hardware and had exactly enough to replace those missing from section 25!
