Brief Description:  RV-10 Transition Training w/ Mike

Today I got a real treat....spending a couple of hours in N220RV with Mike Seager! There is a really good article in SA this month that gives you a idea what it's like to fly with Mike. Let me tell you - he really does know that RV-10 and a joy to fly with.I am a low time pilot with very little high performance time, so I wasn't expecting to get much more out of the flying than to confirm the decision I made to build an RV-10. (BTW - this was my first ride in an RV...ever!)Well, I really felt like I got my money's worth flying with Mike. He really focused on getting me familiar with the -10 and how to control it. We ran through the list of turns, MCA, stalls, cross-wind take off and landings, etc. I actually began to understand the operation of the CS prop and the different mp/rpm settings.Needless to say - I had a great time and may try to get another hour or so in before he leaves.
