Today I removed all the vinyl from the airframe that I had left on during construction. That took most of the day. The last hour and a half I installed the ELT antenna. It is mounted in the tail and will be under the empennage fairing. After doing a lot of research I felt this was the best place for this antenna since there are no good places on the RV-8.
