Brief Description: First Engine Run and Fuel Tank Calibration
Today I ran the engine for the first time. It started right up! I also performed a fuel flow test. Fuel flow from each tank was between 69 and 70 gallons per hour which is more than adequate for max consumption of 18 gph at takeoff power.
After the engine start I worked on calibrating the fuel tanks per the procedure from GRT. It took a while but I was able to get them reading within a gallon of what is in the tanks.
