Brief Description: Continuing the Upper Firewall Assembly
Riveted the F-01201H-1 to the F-01201A-1 using 21 K1100-08 nutplates and 42 AN426AD3-3.5 rivets per figure 1 reference page. Bent the F-01201J-1 and F-01201K-1 to approximate the curvature of the F-01201H-1 and clamped per figure 1 same page. Aligned the offset lines on the hinges with the forward edge of the F-01201H-1 per Detail B reference page. Starting at the center and working outboard, match-drilled #40 the F-01201H-1 into the upper cowl hinges and cleco'ed each hole after drilling. Removed and deburred. Machine countersunk #40 the hinge rivet holes in the F-01201H-1. Riveted the F-01201J-1 and F-01201K-1 to the F-01201H-1 per figure 1 same page. Attached two K1000-08D nutplates to the F-01201A-1 using AN426AD3-3.5 per same figure. Riveted two K1000-04 nutplates to the F-1201A-1 per same figure using CCR264SS-3-2 rivets. Riveted Two K1000-3 nutplates to the F-1201A-1 per same figure using CCR264SS-3-2 rivets. Riveted the F-01201R-1 to the F-01201A-1 using 10 LP4-3 rivets. Dimpled the rivet holes in the lower flange of the F-01201A-1 as called out in the same figure. These steps created the Upper Firewall Assembly.
