Brief Description: Starting the Upper Firewall Assembly
Made the F-01201J-1 and F-01201K-1 from AN257-P4 piano hinge per the dimensions in figure 1 page 29iS/U-02. Removed the hinge pin prior to cutting to length. Marked 1/16 offset lines as shown in the figure. Marked two lengths of AN257-P4 piano hinge to make the F-12116-L-1 & -R-1 per the dimensions in figure 2 same page, hinge pin removed prior to cutting and marked a 1/16 offset line per the same figure.
Dimpled the F-1201P parts to make the F-1201P-L 7 -R per detail A page 29iS/U-02. Dimpled the corresponding screw holes in the F-01201A-1, then dimpled the rivet holes in the F-01201A-1 per detail A. Cleco'ed the F-1201P-L & -R and the two K1100-08D nutplates to the F-01201A-1. Riveted the top AN426AD3-3.5 on each side per detail A. Machine countersunk #40 the nutplate rivet holes in the F-01201H-1. Final Drilled #17, deburred, then dimpled the screw holes in the F-01201H-1. Dimpled the screw holes in the F-01201A-1 upper flange. Bent the F-01201H-1 by hand to approximate the curvature of the F-01201A-1. Stopped due to missing nutplates.
