Brief Description:  Starting the Right nav/position/strobe

Secured the ring terminal of the L211/L6309 (BLK) nav/position/strobe ground wires to the nutplate in the W-1204D-R using 1 AN515-8R8 screw and 1 NAS1149FN832P washer per figure 2 page 40iS/U-06.

Snapped the male Molex pin on the end of the L211 (BLK) into a female Molex connector housing at pin 1 per figure 2 same page and wiring schematic page 40iS/U-05. Snapped the male Molex pins on each conductor of the L6310 (WHT) into the female Molex connector housing per figure 2 and wiring schematic page 40iS/U-05. WHT to Pin 2, WHT/BLU to Pin 3, WHT ORN to Pin 4.

Trimmed the W-1222-R to the scribe lines using a dremel sanding drum and fit it to the wing tip. Then drilled #30 the forward two and aft two holes into the upper flange and the W-1204E-R Fwd Wing Tip Rib per figure 1 page 40iS/U-08. Removed the W-1222-R and cleared all chips then cleco'ed back in place.

Match Drilled #30 the three holes in the wingtip using a flashlight to see through the fiberglass and cleco'ed. Drilled #30 holes in all the remaining dimples in the lower flange of the W-1222-R into the W-1204D-R Wing Tip Close-Out.

Removed the W-1222-R and cleaned away all chips and deburred holes.

Covered wing tip with turtle wax, put a piece of modeling clay over the area where the nut in figure 2 page 40iS/U-08 will be, filled the cavities and the shaded area of the same figure with Flox/Epoxy Resin and cleco'ed the W-1222-R back in place. Cleaned away flox/epoxy and allowed to dry over night.
