Brief Description:  AOA and Stall Warning

Cut a slit in the 2 snap bushings removed and reinstalled then in the two inboard nose ribs. W218 (WHT) stall warning wire came with the ES DV18-188M Female Spade Connector attached so it was connected to the "COM" top spade of the stall warning subassembly per detailed view Figure 1 page 16iS/U-04.

Cover each of the exposed contacts on the nav/strobe and landing light with tape to prevent shorts until section 40iS. Bundled and secured the loose ends of the nav/strobe/landing light wires to the adjacent W-1208-R with a tie wrap.

Used a step drill to enlarge the .375 hole in the inboard W-1208-R of the left wing to 15/32 per figure 2 page 16iS/U-04. Installed FLF-00012 AOA connector into the hole drilled with the fixed nut end facing inboard.

Fabricated W-00034 3/4 inch long from PT-035X1/4 plastic tubing. Fabricated W-00035 Wing AOA line 87 inches long from PT 1/8 CLR plastic tubing.

Pushed the wing root end of the W-00035, 3/8 inch into the W-00034 and sealed with RTV. Per figure 2 same page 16iS/U-05 Installed the W-00034 and the end of the W-00035 in the outboard end of the FLF-00012 per figure 2 same page.

Starting from the 2nd nose rib inboard, installed 7 SB375-3 snap bushings per figure 3 same page. Routed the W-00035 through the snap bushings leaving the excess coiled in the stall warning wing bay per figure 3.

Fabricated the FLF-00016 Aluminum Connector Tube from a piece of AT6-049X1/4 aluminum tubing per figure 4 same page. Radiused both ends 1/32 inch and deburred. Applied a thin coat of silicone compound to both ends and inserted the FLF-00016 into the FLF-00012 and tested with a slight tug.

Drilled a #30 hole in the location shown on figure 1 page 16iS/U-06 on the W-1208-R that has the stall warning subassembly attached to it. Secured the W-00035 to the W-1208-R using a tie wrap through the hole drilled.
