Brief Description: Installed VOR Antenna Cable into Tail Cone
Started with Step 4 page 6. Cut strips of MS21266 Grommet to 3 inches to fabricate 8 of the F-1257B Cable Anti-Chafe Strips.
Leaving 54 inches of the AV-532L cable behind for later routing into the Vertical Stabilizor, routed the AV-532L cable through a plastic tie wrap and secured it to the inboard flange of the F-1238-R ensuring clearance for the control cables.
Routed the AV-532L cable from the F=1238-R to the stiffener of the F-1281-R Lower Skin. Covered the stiffener edge with a F-1257B where the cable enters the stiffener.
Secured the AV-532L cable and the F-1257B to the stiffener of the F-1281-R with a plastic tie wrap.
Continued routing of the AV-532L cable up the F-1281-R stiffener, passing through the lightening holes in each of the fuselage frames as shown in figure 1 page 42PiS-08. After the F-1208 frame, coiled remaining AV-532L cable and taped to inside of the lower skin and labeled the tape AV-532L cable.
Per figure 1 callout, secured the AV-532L cable and F-1257B Cable Anti-Chafe Strip where the AV-532L cable enters and exits the stiffener per detailed callout with a plastic tie wrap.
Cut three strips of MS21266 grommet to 4 3/8 inches to fabricate 3 F-00217s.
Installed the F-000217s into the fuselage frames as shown in the detail view of figure 1 and used a dab of RTV silicone sealant to hold in place.
