Brief Description: Started Assembling the Tail Cone
|

Trimmed the tab on the F-01282-L-1 per figure 1 on reference page. Deburred all edges of both F-01282-L-1, F-01282-R, F-1281-L&R. Broke Edges as per manual 10iS/U-02 on same parts.
Riveted the F-1284-L & -R Shear Clips to the F-1283A & B J-Stiffeners using (4) each LP4-3 Rivets.
Cleco'ed the F-1281A & B J-Stiffeners to the F-01282-L-1 & -R Bottom Left and Right Skins.
Match Drilled #30 the holes in each of the F-01282-L-1 & -R Bottom Left and Right Skins into the F-1283A & B J-Stiffeners per Figure 2 reference page U-06.
Removed parts, cleared away all chips, deburred, and re-cleco'ed in place.
Riveted the F-1283A & B J-Stiffeners to the J-Stiffeners of the F-01282-L-1 & -R Bottom Left and Right Skins using (2) each AN470AD4-4 Rivets.
With the F-01282-L-1 Bottom Left Skin upside down across two saw horses, hooked the J-stiffener cutout of the F-1208, F-1209, and F-1210 Frames onto the J-Stiffener of the F-01282-L-1 Bottom Left Skin and Cleco'ed each fuselage frame to the left bottom skin.
Hooked the J-Stiffener of the F-1282-R Bottom Right Skin into the J-Stiffener cutout of the F-1208, F-1209, and the F-1210 Fuselage Frames and cleco'ed each fuselage frame to the right bottom skin.
Cleco'ed the Bottom Right Skin F-1282-R to the F-01282-L-1 Bottom Left Skin every third hole.
Hooked the J-Stiffeners of the F-1281-L & -R Lower Left and Lower Right Skins into the cutouts in the F-1208, F-1209, F-1210 Frames. Cleco'ed the lower skins to the frames and to the F-01281-L-1 & -R Bottom Left and Right Skins including the F-1283A & B J-Stiffeners.
Placed masking tape over all holes within 7 inches of the forward edge of each tail cone skin.
Placed masking tape over the aft 16 holes to prevent riveting in this step.
Riveted the F-01282-L-1 & -R Bottom Left and Right Skins together using LP4-3 Rivets.
Riveted the F-1208, F-1209, and F-1210 Frames to the bottom left and right skins using LP4-3 Rivets.
