Brief Description:  Static Air System and Aft Pitot Line

Following the "Installing the Static Air System" instruction sheet, secured to SD-42-BSLF pop rivets, one in each F-1280-L & -R just fwd of the F-1208 Frame at the locations called out in Figure 1 reference page. Using the post of the rivet and a bucking bar on the inside, drove out the mandrell from both SD-42-BSLF rivets.

Cut two lengths of PT 1/8 CLR Plastic 24 inches long making quantity 2 F-00012 Static Line Port - Tees. Installed the end of one of the F-00012 Static Line Port - Tees over the right static source and the other over the left static source, sealling the joints between the static line port - tee and the static source by applying a fillet of RTV Silicone sealant as shown in Figure 2 reference page.

Routed each static line port - tee upward and inboard along the inside flange of the F-1208 Frame as shown in Figure 1.

Secured the right side static line port - tee with plastic tie wraps through the holes along the flange of the frame per Figure 1.

Installed but did not tighten, plastic tie wraps on the left side leaving room for future routing in future steps.

Cut a length of PT 1/8 CLR Plastic 7/16 inches to form the F-00014 Static Line tee upsize. Following Section 42N Page 42iS-02 step 5, connected the Aft Pitot Line (PT 1/4 OD Tube) to the F-00014 Static Line tee upsize and the F Plastic Tee.

Routed the Aft Pitot Line outboard and down the left side F-1208 Frame then to the J-Stiffener of the F-1281-L Lower Left Skin as shown in Figure 1 reference page. Routed the Aft Pitot Line forward, running inside the 'hook' of the lower skin with the WH-P30-1, as shown in Detail A-A reference page to the forward edge of the existing structure and coiled the remained Aft Pitot Line and taped coil to the inside of the bottom skin and labeled it Aft Pitot Tube.
