Brief Description: Attach Skin Splice and Aft Ribs
Cleco'ed the HS-1215 Skin Splice Plate to the aft flanges where the HS-01201-R & L main skins meet per Figure 1 on page 9is/U-08.
Match Drilled #52 the .063 holes in the skin splice plate into the aft flanges of the main skins as per Figure 1. Removed and deburred the splice plate and removed all chips.
Riveted the HS-1218A-R and L to the corresponding main skin including the HS-1216 Aft Main Ribs and the Splice Plate HS-1215 on the inside surface of the aft flanges following Figure 2 on page 9is/U-08. Using LP4-3 rivets.
Riveted one HS-1208 aft ribs through the main skin aft flanges to the HS-1207 outboard main rib on both the left and right. Riveted a second inboard rib to the main flange and through the HS-1206 on both left and right. Ribs were all oriented outboard to support fiber glass tip fairings. Rivets LP4-3.
Riveted the remaining holes in the aft flanges of the main skin using LP4-3 rivets.
Separated the HS-1217 Aft Skins, filed and deburred edges. Primed interior surface of Aft Skins using Aviation Primer Zinc Phosphate.
