Removed Masking tape from the HS-1218A-L & R Aft hinges and cleco'ed them to the inside of the aft flanges following hole pattern on Figure 1 page 9is/U-07.
Match-Drilled #30 each hole location from the main skins where the hinge is not drilled, as shown on Figure 1 page 9is/U-07. Removed the aft hinges, deburred the holes and cleared away all chips.
Cleco'ed the right main skins to the Stabilator Skeleton Assembly following Figure 2 on page 9is/U-07, cleco'ed every third hole on the bottom side of the right main skin then flipped the Stabilator and guided the upper skin and upper aft flange to be outside the lower aft flange continued cleco'ing the top sides making sure the upper aft flange is cleco'ed outside the lower aft flange.
Flipped Stabilator and cleco'ed the left main skins to the Stabilator Skeleton Assembly following Figure 2 on page 9is/U-07, cleco'ed every third hole on the bottom side of the right main skin then flipped the Stabilator and guided the upper skin and upper aft flange to be outside the lower aft flange continued cleco'ing the top sides making sure the upper aft flange is cleco'ed outside the lower aft flange.
Started to Cleco the HS-01231C-1 Hinge Gussets when I realized that the manufacturer shipped the wrong part. HS-01231C was shipped and did not align properly. Worked with Van's for a month getting correct parts.
