Brief Description: Horizontal Stabilator Ribs and Rib Clips
Steps 1-2: Separated the HS-1214 Rib Clips into six individual Rib Clips, deburred and primed using Aviation Zinc Phosphate primer.
While preparing to Cleco and Rivet the Rib clips onto the Aft Spar I identified that the Left most HS-01212-1 and the 2nd from the right were installed 180 degrees off and the holes for the rib clips were not lining up. Using a center punch, marked the center of the four AN426AD3-4 Rivets holding each of the 2 HS-01212-1 ribs. Then center drilled #52 the four rivets and then completed the drilled out using a #43 bit. Cleaned away all metal and rivet pieces. Turned HS-01212-1 ribs 180 degrees and riveted them back in place using four AN426AD3-4 Rivets.
Riveted the rib clips to the HS-01203-1 Aft Spar using 3 each LP4-3 Rivets. Verified Flange orientation per Figure 2. on reference page.
