A year or two ago I dropped a bucking bar inside the fuselage. It put a dent on the bottom skin of the baggage compartment. Prior to closing the area, I wanted to fix the dent...turned out it was actually a break in the skin too.
At first I was going to cut a circle around the damage, rivet on a larger circle of new skin, and fill in the resulting circular step. But then I thought nuts, I'll try JB Weld. So I tapped the dent/break back as well as possible and filled in with JB Weld from both sides. Later I'll smooth the outside skin.
