Installed the steps previously prepared: sanded off paint on outer 1/2" of each step tube so they would slide into plastic bearing block (later wish I had instead enlarged the bearing block hole); put each step into place with block, bolted and torqued 2 bolts to fuse floor rib and 1 bolt through block and tube; clecoed everything; and riveted. The latter by myself so it's a bit ugly but structurally sound. Would be prettier to have two people do the riveting. Finishing this task now allows me to re-install the baggage floors, then the flaps, then...working forward.
