Brief Description:  Cabin Heat / Engine Probes

-First hour of the session was wasted installing the cabin heat muff on the exhaust and it was too big (ID). Mine is 2" which the website says is on later models, but verify. Well I forgot to verify and I need the 1 3/4" one -rats.

-I then moved to installing the CHT and EGT probes. The EGTs require you to drill a #30 hole in the exhaust between 2 and 6 inches from the flange.

-I then went to trip my GPS shelf. That turned into a job. Had to remove the antennas, remove the shelf, remove the hose. I thought I would reindex the fitting on the oil tank and that turned into a mess. Had to resafety it, but it did give me a chance to see how the tank worked.

Good session all-in-all.
