Brief Description:  Canopy Skirt #13

The last attempt didn't work, the tape couldn't hold down the skirts and close the gaps. Over time it gradually let go and although the gap is better they still aren't to my satisfaction

Well I went with a more aggressive approach this time. The aft-most tip is fine, but the area between the frame and the aft-most 8 inches has gaps that I don't want to accept 3/16+".
-Cut more and longer slicing into the skirt in the areas it wouldn't lay down
-Sanded and prepped for glassing
-Cleaned and taped down the offending areas with strong duct tape
-Layed a ply of glass along the gaps on both left and right sides

After leaving it for a hr or so I noticed the tape wasn't holding it down onto the fuse so I happened to look over and see my DC-3 prop blade standing there and had an idea! Not the most elegant solution but I'm hoping it works. Now I just need 3 more to push down all of the areas that are hardening as we speak. Oh well, as long as it works I don't mind redoing the other areas. Finding a solution at this point is becoming irritating.
Mean while my buddies Greg and Mike just landed at OSH!!!! I wish I were there, but family and fiances dictate otherwise this year.

Lots more slices and longer. This either works or eventually I had to start over.

Notice where the tape is holding it down vs the free area - that's the issue
