-First big cut on the spinner openings (for the blades) I used the pin template tool for making contours recommended by Van (had one already). It worked ok as a start. I had to go through about 6 iterations to get it completely on and clear of the prop (still haven't checked for when the prop cycles). -Worked on getting it wobble free on the flanges so I can drill it for nutplates.
With the fasteners and the aluminum cutout covers that go behind the blades I think I have at least 5 more hours of work to go.
Making the cut - not sure what a spinner blank costs, but I didn't want to screw it up.
