Brief Description: Wing tip #3 and Wheel pants #14
-Figured out where I'm going to put the position lights within the cutout of the wingtip. -Started by forming the base of the position/strobe lights on the right wing tip with clay. Might be kind of silly to go to the effort when a simple aluminum bracket or a less complex layup would do - for some reason this approach struck my fancy... -I then layed 3 layers of glass and then peel ply'd. -Then I sanded on the lower gear intersection fairings (wet micro lays down good, but it sucks to sand). -Then I filled the holes and low spots with Superfill. -Then I worked on cutting out the left wing tip lens. What a pain doing all those interative cuts to creep up on the final fitment. It is very close but not perfect yet.
