Brief Description:  Stabilizer Fairings and Wheel Pants

-Sanded the horizontal stabilizer fairing and put on a skim coat.
-Installed nutplates on the vertical stabilizer fairing
-Drilled and dimpled the VS for #8 screws
-Sanded fairings after they dried and primed with primer/filler

-Worked on getting the wheel pant halfs to match up better - there were some big gaps as delivered. I started to trim the forward half to get a perfectly flat edge and then realized the mating aft half edge could be imperfect. Knowing that I fitted and hand sanded with 36 grit on a block of wheel to work down the high spots that were keeping the 2 halves from fitting flush. The right one was much worse than the left. I sanded both to my satisfaction - not perfect, but pretty good and much better than stock or putting micro in there to build up the gaps (would probably crack with all the vibration).
-Layed out the screw holes onto the front halves per the plans and drilled then match-drilled to the aft half
-Layed out a centerline on top and bottom of each pant
