Well after the first false start a few weeks back with the wrong kind of clay (the wife bought a water-based clay that dryed and cracked) I got the real stuff and I started working with my artistic side (not). I'm actually pretty happy so far. I need to tweak it alittle, but hopefully tomorrow I lay up the fiberglass.
Kinda just blobs on - I have mylar on the gear and fuse
Syd came out to see what I was doing and got an action shot
Then you just remove everything that doesn't look like a gear fairing
