Today was fun day on the project. With the arrival of my AFS (primary flt display) I could complete the panel and put it in the airplane. I had to put the subpanels back in along with the g-meter, airvent, hobbs, and the 5 switches on the left hand side. Then I put the radio rack back in. Installed the radios Installed the 696 Installed the AFS Installed the Dynon Then I mounted it in the airplane - too cool. I then moved on to looking at all the wires that I need to find a home for with the advent of the AFS - there are a lot! I also discovered that my xponder rack was configured for a different installation so the rear of the rack had to be removed and I need to reinstall in the aft position. I also piddled with the clay for the intersection fairing (about :15 minutes). I would love to have this powered up soon, but after looking at those harnesses it might be awhile.
The panel in it's final form - hopefully.
The xponder rack (the gray part was mounted on the back of the rack and the connectors wouldn't mate.
